Arrive at Conway Summit all geared up for the day. Meet your guides and get an orientation of conditions and our safety protocols. High Sierra Snowcat Skiing provides guided backcountry skiing and snowboarding experiences in remote alpine terrain, emphasizing safety, small group sizes, and expert local guides who assess conditions and choose routes each day.
Lunch, snacks and basic avalanche-safety equipment are provided, and guides tailor the day’s runs to the group’s ability and conditions, offering instruction and route-choice explanations as needed. Weather and snowpack determine the exact schedule, with flexibility built in so the team can optimize for the best and safest skiing conditions.

Minimum of 5 riders registered for a day to run
Special Group Rate $625 for groups of 5 or more
Private Snowcat Skiing $6000 total, up to 10 riders.

Private Overnight Snowcat Skiing & Snowboarding Trip
This is the core experience at High Sierra Snowcat! This multiday trip includes guided snowcat skiing or boarding throughout our 9,000 acres of permitted terrain followed by overnight accommodation in our backcountry yurts. Have your crew be the only people around with two sleeping spaces for 5 people with new heating systems and queen sized beds and linens (10 People Total). Then come over to our new communal yurt with comfy seating options, enjoy our signature surf and turf dinner, play games, enjoy our sauna, before heading back out for another day of backcountry
